Green grass, sunny skies..... The puppies had their first chance to explore outside the safety of the nursery this weekend. They are not quite a month old and weren't sure of this new landscape. All of the adult poodles casually looked on as they toddled around and did a lot of circling. Nobody ventured too far this time but as their confidence grows, so will their territory!

 THE PUPPIES ARE SOAKING UP THE LOVE.... When Cousins are in town it is a perfect time to get a lot of hands on! I HEARD "ADORABLE, SWEET, SOOOO CUTE"- which one to hold seemed to be the question!   CHOICES ARE GOOD RIGHT???? Well it certainly isn't easy when the choices are all "good!" Jennifer admired for quite some time before she chose Luna's parti boy #3. "Potter" has found his home!  UKC Premier was this last weekend and we have arrived home very happy- Vanna made us EXTREMELY proud this last weekend! She placed FIRST in her Champion's Class on Saturday which was full of champions from around the country. The pix pretty much sum up our win....She seemed to understand the goal and pulled out ALL the stops. Fluid motion with great reach and drive. What a sweet, beautiful girl.       UKC PREMIER AT THE END OF DAY 1...... MY FRIENDS AND I ARE DOING WELL! CONGRATULATIONS TO CH PHIL- lAST NIGHT HE TOOK 2ND AT THE TOP 10 INVITATIONAL! VANNA APPEARS TO BE ENJOYING HERSELF. LAST NIGHT AT THE SPECIALTY, SHE TOOK RESERVE CHAMPION! THE COMPETITION IS AWESOME AND I WAS QUITE PLEASED. WE WILL SEE WHAT TOMORROW HOLDS.....   Luna's puppies are doing really well. It's a relief when all accounted for have filled out and appear to be over the "hump."
Very busy here getting ready to leave for PREMIER in Kalamazoo Mi. This is a huge show and the competition should be awesome. I'm taking Vanna and meeting friends. Win or lose- it will be a good time.  I thought I'd snap a few pictures first thing this morning of Skylar's litter. Well my tired mind finally noticed we have a lot of similarities going on. Above is the whole litter.....Below the boys are on orange and the girls are on green. Don't these two sets of brown and black tuxedos look alike???     Luna's litter has some very flashy partis which I know will be stunning adults. Extra white always seems to catch my eye. I'm happy that our baby "week" has officially drawn to a close. The fun part begins once every babe is over the precarious first few days. Skylar's babies are filling out well. Hopefully, Luna's aren't far behind.  Skylar's litter arrived exactly on schedule. She delivered 6 beautiful puppies- 4 boys and 2 girls. The best part is that every one of them has a heavy tuxedo pattern just like Mom & Dad. This is a GORGEOUS LITTER.  THE GIRLS  THE BOYS If past performance indicates anything, I'd say they look like two "PARTY PLANNERS."  "I THINK IT WOULD BE FUN TO KEEP HER UP ALL NIGHT...." |
