The exodus has begun.... The Flynn's (above) were happy to see Potter again....Many changes since they came and picked him out. The Davenports (below) have driven 8 hours (one way) but such a sweet ending. They finally got to meet their brown and white tux girl of Sklar's that they have been waiting months and months for. Both families are in for a memorable weekend.
I get to meet some of the nicest people as they end up at my door in their search for a great standard poodle!

Skylar and her tux boy #1 appeared to be having a "talk" Nothing too profound I'm sure. I could almost hear her saying....
"AND SOMEDAY YOU WILL HAVE A BALL OF YOUR VERY OWN !" Today cooler weather made playing outside more enjoyable..... Apparently, Follow the Leader was the game of choice. It was kind of hard to snap pictures with babies determined to be under my feet BUT that kind of human love is the goal..... Game On.
Luna's Brown and White parti boy didn't mind his bath so much..... Would he line up first next time?? No- but he's getting the idea it's part of life. :)
It is HOT enough to get wet.....really wet. We like most of the Midwest, are in the middle of a very hot week. I snapped pictures of the 3 boys that are on the lookout for their new homes! Top group of 4 pictures is Luna's brown and white parti boy,
Middle group is Skylar's black/white tux #1 and bottom group is Luna's black/white parti boy #1. No puppy arrival this time as our family endures the second fractured arm in 4 months. Our son fx his right arm today during a soccer game. At least we were spared the question "Josh do you feel safe at home??" as it provided endless humor during Meg's ordeal. Back to puppy updates soon.
When I was a kid our dog ALWAYS chose to lay in my Mom's flower beds.....guaranteed. Today I'm just like my Mom and love flowers. The difference?? Standard Poodles are smart enough to learn the ropes and that means staying out of my flowerbed. They take the sidewalk.
Puppies are on the hunt for ANYTHING willing to nurse them...... pathetically sweet. Amir put up with the little guys hitting him up until his dignity just couldn't take it. They were unconcerned and simply moved on til Mom gave in... Pictured is Skylar's tux boy #3 above. Tux boy #1 below and bottom Skylar's tux girl.
Relaxing Saturday in progress...I can choose between trimming landscape or grooming puppies. LOL Well both need to get done so we will dig in shortly. We've got mellow in spades today if these pictures are any indication. I wonder if a bath will wake them up?
The puppies are growing and frankly just adorable. Here are two of Luna's boys that are 5 weeks old and still on the lookout for their families!
