I just can't tell you how exciting all of this was, and how you have deeply and lastingly touched Linda and Rick's lives. I was thrilled to be a small part of it!
I am SO impressed with your pup. Not only is he beautiful, but he is such a HAPPY fellow, and loving. He is absolutely the perfect dog. His tail was wagging even in the crate when he was waiting to be picked up. Everyone at the Delta counter was crazy about him. When we took him out of the crate, he immediately went to loving on Linda and Rick. I was just glowing inside as I watched it all unfold.
Your pup couldn't have gone to more deserving people. They have had such a heart wrenching, terrible two years and now they have this wonderful, loving creature in their lives, to see them past the tragedy and to bring them happiness and love every day. They are the strongest people I know, and so dedicated to each other. I am privileged to have them as friends. To have facilitated their getting your pup is a lifetime memory for me.
I have attached a couple pictures of last night. They insisted I hold him on the way back, so I'm the one in the back seat of the car, cuddling. The others are of Linda and Rick in their first few moments with the pup.
